Uniquely Qualified

With nearly three decades of leadership experience, Darelyn Pazdel is a California native who has devoted 29 years to PRIDE Industries, advancing inclusive employment and workforce innovation. Darelyn leads a team of 455 professionals who support nearly 4,000 individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals, gain independence, and thrive within inclusive communities.

Before joining PRIDE Industries, Darelyn worked as a counselor supporting injured workers transitioning into new careers and began her professional journey in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley. Since joining PRIDE Industries, she has held multiple leadership roles across both Operations and Workforce Inclusion, bringing a strategic, mission driven approach to organizational growth and impact.

Darelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Jose State University and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University. She is a graduate of the Air Force Civilian Leadership Training Program and the Cornell University Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate Program, along with several additional post graduate leadership development programs.

Community Leadership & Advocacy

Darelyn’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional role. She has served as Chairperson of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee Executive Board and currently serves as an executive board member of Vacaville Christian School. She also actively volunteers with the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America, and her church community.

In recognition of her advocacy for people with disabilities, Darelyn was named Woman of the Year (2022) by Congressman John Garamendi.

Beyond Work

Outside of work, Darelyn values lifelong learning, time outdoors, and family. She enjoys gardening, backpacking, and water sports, and she and her husband enjoy exploring California trails together. Family is central to her life, and she especially cherishes time with their three adult children.
