Since its inception in 1966, PRIDE Industries has stood for the inclusion of people with diverse abilities in the workforce. We believe that everyone has talent, and that all people can make significant contributions in the workplace. Our goal is to help working-age Americans with disabilities leverage their unique abilities to build meaningful careers. To do this, we offer a wide range of services, including job training, placement, on-the-job coaching, and skills development for independent living. Together with our employment partners, PRIDE Industries builds inclusive, diverse work environments where people with disabilities can thrive.
For those individuals who would benefit from life skills education, we offer a person-centered curriculum that covers more than 300 essential topics. Our instruction is tailored to meet each individual’s needs, capabilities, and goals, and covers a multitude of self-care and self-advocacy skills. From how to navigate public transportation, to how to communicate more effectively, our curriculum teaches the soft skills that are critical not just for success in life, but in the workplace as well.
PRIDE Industries works with other well-regarded organizations who wish to tap into our large employer network and available job opportunities. We can provide training, coaching, and job placement, complementing the services offered by other agencies.
