Casey motivates and leads a vast national portfolio of business lines at PRIDE Industries, including Integrated Facilities Management; Custodial and Environmental Services; Electronics Manufacturing Services; Supply Chain Management; and Kitting, Fulfillment and Distribution Services. In addition to the lines of business, he also has oversight of the Contracting, Procurement, and Quality functions. He serves as a strategic partner on the leadership team, providing direction and ensuring that multiple company departments meet performance expectations. As a retired Major General (Maj Gen), he also brings some 33 years of military service to his role, with expertise in procurement, contracting, program management, installation management, contingency operations, and government procurement policy. He is a graduate of The Citadel, Charleston, SC; earned an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco; is a distinguished graduate of the prestigious Eisenhower School (formerly Industrial College of the Armed Forces); completed both the DoD’s Advanced Program Management Course, Defense Systems Management College and the Systems Acquisition Executive Management Course, Defense Acquisition University; and graduated from the National Security Studies Program, Elliott School of International Studies, George Washington University. He is also a Certified Professional Contracts Manager, National Contract Management Association.
Before joining PRIDE Industries, Maj Gen (Ret) Blake served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Contracting, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition at The Pentagon. In this role, he was responsible for supporting a portfolio of $825 billion, and for equipping a workforce of 8,000 procurement professionals for the acquisition and contracting of weapon systems, logistics, and operational support for the Air Force, as well as the provision of contingency support to the geographic combatant commanders.
A Lifetime of Service
During his military service, Maj Gen (Ret) Blake deployed overseas in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). Through his distinguished service to our country, he earned 19 major awards and decorations, including the Distinguished Service Medal, two bronze stars, and multiple awards for excellence in Contracting. His recreational activities include fitness training, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, and reading history and leadership autobiographies.
