Independent Living Skills

Training for independence, self-care, and self-advocacy

Life Skills Training and Support

PRIDE Industries offers ongoing support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through our Independent Living Services (ILS) program. For individuals who qualify, this program provides instruction in more than 300 skills essential for independent living, enabling participants to live on their own and participate in their communities. Our curriculum covers a wide range of self-care and self-advocacy topics, from how to navigate public transportation to interpersonal communication. Our skilled professionals provide this community-based service in Northern California, using a customized approach to teaching that accommodates each individual’s needs, capabilities, and goals.
