Your HVAC maintenance should include a complete check of the system and replacement of any parts such as belts and filters that are needed. Maintenance checks are usually carried out quarterly with one of those checks being an “annual” check that involves a more extensive check of the HVAC and associated BAS if necessary.

Generally, commercial HVAC should have HVAC routine maintenance carried out four times a year, one of those four will be an in-depth annual service.

Licenses for HVAC technicians who are certified to perform work on HVAC systems will be determined by state and local authorities. In California this is covered by the Contractor's State License Board.

All HVAC technicians should be certified to work on your commercial HVAC system. Certification shows the technician has completed training and is qualified to work on HVAC systems.
