Shemeca's Story

When she was young, Shemeca became one of the millions of people worldwide who are trafficked every year. She survived this period of her life, and in 2017 she moved to California, determined to make a fresh start, on her own terms. You can learn how she found housing and safety, and eventually a job, by clicking the link below. It’s a story of perseverance and determination, told in Shemeca’s own words. PRIDE Industries is proud to be part of that story.
