ROSEVILLE – PRIDE Industries, a leading employer of people with disabilities operating in Louisiana, recently donated two (2) wheelchair-accessible buses to the First St. Mark Baptist Church in Alexandria, LA. These vehicles will be utilized to expand their service offerings to better assist senior, veterans, and people with disabilities in the local community.

In Louisiana, PRIDE Industries employs more than 230 individuals, including more than 110 individuals with disabilities providing custodial services on a GSA contract in New Orleans, and base-wide facilities support services through a Directorate of Public Works contract at Ft. “This generous donation is a blessing for both our church and the local community,” said Rev. Grady Blackwell, Pastor at the First St. Mark Baptist Church. “These transport vans will greatly help us to expand our community ministry while increasing service offerings and transportation options for those most in need.”
