Position Summary:
The Bus Driver provides transportation to people with disabilities to get to their places of employment. A rewarding opportunity that helps make a difference!
Location:
Roseville, CA and Auburn, CA
Typical Duties:
Operate multi-passenger vehicle to safely transport individuals with disabilities to job sites and other destinations.
Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle including securing wheelchair(s).
Perform vehicle inspections and report any mechanical problems prior to departure.
Communicate with dispatch personnel.
Maintain accurate and legible records and logs as required.
Performs duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Meet driving qualifications as defined by PRIDE Industries.
Ability to operate passenger vehicle in accordance with a schedule.
Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, and written.
Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems.
Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.
