Experienced People and Culture Executive Adds Depth in Talent Acquisition, Strategic Planning, and Organizational Growth

Roseville, Calif. (September 16, 2026) – PRIDE Industries, the nation’s largest employer of people with disabilities, has appointed Kim Mayes as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer. With decades of experience leading business human resources, HR mergers and acquisitions, organizational effectiveness, and growth strategies for a global organization, Mayes will oversee PRIDE Industries’ human resources function and help drive workforce growth, employee engagement, and organizational performance.

Mayes joins PRIDE Industries following a distinguished career that includes senior leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility at Intel Corporation, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources and helped shape talent and inclusion initiatives across a global workforce. In her new role, she will lead strategies that strengthen PRIDE Industries’ people-first culture while advancing the organization’s mission of creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities and others facing barriers to employment.

Recognition championed by the Athletics (the A’s) Major League Baseball team highlights the social enterprise’s longstanding commitment to creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — August 5, 2026 — PRIDE Industries, the nation’s largest employer of people with disabilities, has been recognized with the Ability Transcends Challenges (ATC) Award from the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS). The award honors organizations that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to disability inclusion and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

The Ability Transcends Challenges program was developed by PBATS in collaboration with the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). The program’s goal is to highlight the contributions and potential of people with disabilities, drawing inspiration from baseball’s long history of athletes overcoming barriers to achieve success at the highest levels of the sport.

The recognition of PRIDE Industries was championed by the Athletics, long-time PBATS members, who are currently playing in Sacramento, near PRIDE Industries’ corporate headquarters in Roseville. The two organizations share a commitment to opening doors, breaking barriers, and demonstrating that ability—not disability—defines success.

Corbett honored by SourceAmerica for advancing inclusive employment and strengthening the U.S. workforce

Roseville, Calif., (June 3, 2026) — Valentino Corbett, a locksmith with PRIDE Industries and a U.S. Army veteran, has been named the recipient of the Honor Roll for Veterans Award as part of the 2026 SourceAmerica® Achievement Awards, presented May 20 at the annual Xforce Conference in Grapevine, Texas.

Corbett was honored for his outstanding performance, leadership, and mentorship as a key member of PRIDE Industries’ workforce. A skilled locksmith responsible for securing hundreds of facilities and maintaining critical infrastructure, Corbett is widely recognized for his technical expertise, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

A military veteran with service-related disabilities, Corbett exemplifies resilience and leadership. Drawing from more than 20 years of service as a U.S. Army First Sergeant, he applies discipline, problem-solving, and team-building skills to his work every day—mentoring colleagues and helping create opportunities for others to succeed.
