Sacramento International Airport Honored for Employment of People with Disabilities

Sacramento, CA May 7, 2015: The SourceAmerica® Commercial Business Partnership Award is presented annually to organizations that have partnered with an AbilityOne® nonprofit agency, such as PRIDE, to increase employment opportunities for people with significant disabilities. AbilityOne® is a federal program that creates employment for people who are blind or have significant disabilities, by providing products and services to the U.S. government.

“We are grateful to the Sacramento County Dept. of Airports for their partnership,” says Michael Ziegler, PRIDE Industries President/CEO. “Maintenance of this highly visible venue sends a message to the entire community about the value of employing individuals with disabilities. Together, we create an opportunity for those most often excluded from employment.”
