Don Nelson

Vice President, Government Facilities Services

Nelson is responsible for oversight of over 40 Federal projects for customers nationwide. Nelson’s experience includes more than two decades of professional experience in the military sector leading military operations in base maintenance activities and infrastructure support for military installations to include deployed contingency operations overseas. He also has over a decade of non-profit operations experience managing some of the largest projects in the AbilityOne program.


Nelson is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with over 24 years of active duty service. Among his military accolades include the Air Mobility Command, Society of American Military Engineers Goddard Award in recognition of excellence in Civil Engineer Support to the mission and people of the Air Mobility Command.


Nelson holds an MBA from Walden University, BS in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, AA degree in Mechanical and Electrical Technology and an AA in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. He is a Certified Senior Industrial Technologist, Certified Facility Manager and Facility Management Professional from International Facility Management Association. He is licensed in California as a General Contractor, landscaper, Water Operator and Certified pest applicator.
