It's Secure. PRIDE maintains the highest level of security to verify each step in the chain of custody. Our process helps your organization to properly dispose of sensitive materials and comply with regulatory requirements.
Secure People -- Each member of the PRIDE team is not only highly qualified, but also highly screened. A thorough background check is completed on each new hire.
Secure Pick-up or On-site Shredding -- The PRIDE team collects your files in secure, locked containers and then either loads them onto our secure vehicle for transport to our secure shredding plant, OR (depending on your needs) we will shred your files at your site with our mobile shredding equipment.
Secure Transport -- The locked containers are loaded in a secure vehicle that remains locked until it arrives at our shredding facility.
Secure Destruction -- All material is placed in the strip shredder, which is monitored with video surveillance that also records a time and date stamp. It is cut into 5/8" or 5/16" inch material (depending on your needs) to ensure that documents cannot be reassembled. The raw material goes directly into a baler, where it is placed in a secure container for shipment to the paper mill for pulping. The pulp is used to create recycled materials.
