Approximately 75 million people visit California State Parks each year. To efficiently meet customers’ needs, California State Parks adopted an e-store solution.

The Challenge

As their e-commerce needs grew, this customer needed a turnkey fulfillment solution that would provide online sales and distribution of state park passes as well as gift, promotional and publication items. In 2006, California State Parks division turned to PRIDE Industries.

PRIDE Industries provided the design, creation, hosting and management of California State Parks E-Store. PRIDE’s turnkey solution also provides product warehousing, order fulfillment, distribution and customer service.

In addition to direct-to-the-consumer fulfillment, PRIDE became certified and licensed as a promotional product distributor, and now serves as the wholesale supplier to State Park Cooperating Associations, non-profit organizations and vendors in the state concession program, providing a single point of purchasing to streamline processes for California State Parks division.
