John VaughanSenior Vice President, Manufacturing and Logistics Services and Chief Information Officer John Vaughan leads PRIDE Industries’ manufacturing and technology efforts, overseeing electronics and medical device manufacturing, fulfillment, supply chain logistics and information technology company-wide. Vaughan joined PRIDE in 1999, with more than 30 years’ experience in information technology and systems management. Prior to joining PRIDE, Mr. Vaughan was the chief executive officer for Precision Printers and vice president of operations at Utah Scientific. He served for 16 years as director of information systems for Tektronix, Inc., Grass Valley Products Division, with responsibility for worldwide systems. Vaughan led the reengineering of PRIDE’s manufacturing processes, raising quality and profitability. During his tenure, the company has achieved ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certification and California state licensing for medical device manufacturing. In 2008, PRIDE Industries ranked third on the Sacramento Business Journal Book of Lists among top ten Sacramento region manufacturers and was previously honored for Excellence in Customer Service and Outstanding Performance by Hewlett-Packard's Global Support Logistics (GSL) Division. Active in the community, Vaughan sponsors annual scholarships at Nevada Union High School, Sonoma State University and the Friendship Club, a nonprofit organization providing mentoring to young, at-risk women. |
