Fred Smith

Fred Smith is Vice President of PRIDE Industries Integrated Facilities Services Department. He oversees all service operations (in two Divisions) for the company (1,600 employees and 60 managers), including military installation operations and commercial sector operations in twelve states and Washington D.C. PRIDE�s Integrated Facilities Services include custodial services, base housing maintenance services, building services, library, food service, commissary operations, landscaping, painting, pest control, security, shipboard provisioning, transportation, and administrative services.
Smith joined PRIDE in 1996 in project management and operations roles in the government services division, following a successful 20+ year career as a U.S. Army Officer. He moved to the government sector in an operations position at NISH, a national non-profit organization that assists organizations in job creation for people with disabilities in the local, state and federal government. Smith returned to PRIDE in 2002 as the Director of Government Services, before being promoted to Vice President of Integrated Facilities Services for PRIDE.
Fred attended Central Texas College with an emphasis on Automotive Engineering.
Smith resides in the Sacramento area with his two youngest children. He is a seasoned skydiver, with over 20 years experience and 8,000 jumps. He is a Safety and Training Advisor for the United States Parachute Association and was a Master Parachutist while in the United States Army.
