Leading employer of people with disabilities adds President and CEO of VSP Vision to its board

ROSEVILLE – PRIDE Industries, a leading employer of people with disabilities and a recognized service provider of manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and facilities solutions to business and government agencies nationwide, today announced the addition of Rob Lynch to its board of directors.

Lynch is president and CEO of VSP Vision℠, which includes VSP Vision Care, the largest not-for-profit vision benefits and services company in the United States with 55 million members. VSP Vision℠ offers world-class products and services to eye care professionals, employers, and members through a group of leading companies providing comprehensive eye care coverage; design and distribution of quality eyewear; premiere management software and technology to improve practice management and patient experience; ophthalmic products; and technologically advanced lab services.  Since 1997, VSP has also provided more than 557,309 low-income, uninsured children with free eye care.

With more than 30 years experience in the employee benefits field, Rob joined VSP in 2006 from Buck Consultants, an ACS Company, where he was managing director and chief operating officer. Lynch also serves on the board of directors of Prevent Blindness America.
