ROSEVILLE – PRIDE Industries, a leading employer of people with disabilities, today announced the promotion of Don Nelson to Vice President of Facilities Operations. He will have shared oversight of the organization’s base-wide operating facilities support service contracts to the federal government.

 

Nelson has over two decades of professional experience in civil engineering, supervising multi-million dollar facilities, construction and utilities operations and personnel on military installations across the nation and internationally. He has been employed at PRIDE Industries since 2007, where he was responsible for the company’s base maintenance operations at Los Angeles Air Force Base, and most recently held the position of Senior Director of Facilities Operations.

 

Nelson holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Walden University. Mr. Nelson attended the NCO Academy at McGuire AFB, NJ and the senior NCO Academy at Gunter AFB, AL. He is also a certified Industrial Technologist, Certified Facility Manager, and Universal Refrigerant Technician.
