PRIDE Hires Kennedy for Program Manager Post
Roseville, Ca. Jan 30, 2009 - PRIDE Industries has named Jim Kennedy program manager with responsibility for the start-up and oversight of select facilities maintenance government contracts.
Kennedy served 30 years in the U.S. Air Force in leadership positions overseeing complex, multi-million facility engineering, operations, and maintenance assignments. His work for the military included five years as chief of the Outsourcing and Privatization Division, HQ Air Force Material Command with responsibility for large civil engineering outsourcing and privatization programs. After retiring from the military in 2001, he served in similar capacities in the private sector including project management and executive leadership in DynPar LLC, Call Henry, Inc., LB&B Associates, and Eastern Maintenance Services.
A published expert on organizational management and productivity, he also belongs to the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), Military Officer’s Association (MOA), Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Air Force Association (AFA).
He holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University, OK, and an Assoc. Degree in Engineering from Eastern Oklahoma State College.
