Our Approach

At PRIDE, we have a mission to deliver exceptional outsourcing solutions while creating jobs for people with disabilities. Since 1966, we have been turning that mission into countless daily success stories.

PRIDE Industries is an entrepreneurial and largely self-sustaining not-for-profit company. We maintain that focus on self-sufficiency in our approach to people and business.

PRIDE’s success can be summarized by three words: People. Passion. Purpose.

We are passionate about creating opportunity for people with disabilities and united by the knowledge that we are contributing to something greater than ourselves. This sense of purpose drives us to continually find ways to ensure and increase our customer’s satisfaction, opening new doors for people with disabilities and other obstacles to employment.

Our Approach to People

Our Approach to People

Where disability impedes employment, PRIDE is a champion of the unemployed. PRIDE Industries provides vocational training, counseling and support to individuals with disabilities and other employment barriers.

We help people develop the technical and work skills they need to obtain and sustain employment, become contributing members of their communities, and live independently.

Our approach to people is person-centered beginning by carefully assessing individual skills and interests.   Each person then participates in developing a plan to reach his or her long-range goals and full potential. Our rehabilitation specialists and employment experts match individual abilities with employer needs so that both benefit.  Our services support all phases of the employment process, including post-employment, ensuring employer and employee achieve success.

At PRIDE, we shift the focus from disabilities to capabilities and create meaningful employment by offering our customers quality, high-value business solutions.

Our Approach to Business

Our Approach to Business

At PRIDE, we never forgot that our success rests entirely on the quality of our work and our ability to meet each customer’s needs.  In today’s highly competitive market, we know our customers have choices and that they look to us for efficient, cost-effective, high-quality outsourcing solutions. It is through satisfying those needs and going beyond what’s expected that we ensure our mutual, ongoing success.

Our customers come from diverse and complex markets, ranging from small companies to global enterprises, corporations to government agencies, and public venues to secure military installations. With each client, we take the time to understand how our services can improve their operations and design a program that achieves that goal in the most cost-effective way possible.

We’re not afraid of competing for our customers’ business.  Instead, we believe that competition fosters innovation and pushes us to excel. When we succeed at meeting our customers’ challenges, they become partners in our social mission. In turn, our customers reap the rewards of opening doors and opportunity for more than 50 million Americans with disabilities today.
