Site-Based Services

PRIDE Industries’ site-based services are designed to assist individuals with disabilities to identify vocational goals, develop personal plans, build job skills, and support individual or group employment.

Special Needs

Person-centered planning that assists individuals with multiple employment barriers in identifying vocational goals. Services are available on a one-to-four ratio and prepare individuals for transition to less restrictive, structured work environments. Services include:

• Assessment
• Case management
• Behavior support
• Offsite work experience
• Adult education
• Speech therapy
• Job-specific instruction
• Employment preparation

Work Services

Person-centered planning that assists people with developmental disabilities in identifying vocational goals and developing work skills. Individuals have expressed a desire to acquire work skills to improve employability prospects. Services include:

• Assessment
• Case management
• On-the-job training
• Safety awareness
• Job-specific instruction
• Employment preparation

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)  / Work Activity Program (WAP)

Person-centered planning that facilitates individuals’ transition to individual or group community employment. PRIDE collaborates with the Department of Rehabilitation on case management. Services include:

• Vocational evaluation
• Job exploration (JE)
• External situational assessment (ESA)
• Personal, vocational, and social adjustment (PVSA)

Group Placement

Person-centered planning that supports individuals with disabilities in groups of four to eight who are seeking employment in the community.
